I recently had the opportunity to spend quite some time at one of the notaries in Loja, the "notaria quinta". I had some specific issues that were bothering me and I went "notary shopping" so to speak to see where I got the best attention and the clearest response to my questions.

As a plus the space is open and bright, with many windows opening onto calle Bolivar in the heart of the city of Loja. There are many comfortable seats for people to wait while being looked after.
